In just one short year, Julia went from graduating from the awarding-winning College of Makeup, Art & Design (CMU) in Toronto - to having her work put under a magnifying glass by some of the biggest names in the makeup world on Kim Kardashian West's TV show "Glam Masters.” Julia was a finalist, creating wicked looks in under an hour, all while being filmed by a major Los Angeles production crew. But that was just the beginning! 

 

Julia went on to collaborate on a year-long partnership with Burberry Beauty as their Canadian Makeup Ambassador, teaching masterclasses all over Canada. She also works with other elite brands such as Makeup Forever, MAC Cosmetics, and NARS Cosmetics to name a few. Julia frequently contributes to "CBC Life" as their beauty expert; she's collaborated with Temptu Pro for her own beauty products and was the youngest makeup artist ever featured in Marie Claire magazine. She is on call for some of the biggest Canadian celebrities and loves making women feel beautiful. Her clientele often mention that not only does Julia make them look gorgeous, but her calming presence is what they need before a big event. 

 

Some of Julia's latest accomplishments are working major industry events, including the Met Gala, SNL, the Grammys, AMA's, and the VMA's, alongside celebrity makeup artist Alexx Mayo for musical artist, Lizzo! 

 

Julia has become a successful content creator and educator who turned her makeup experience into “Julia Dantas Beauty Academy,” a global online and in-person makeup artist certification, including an intensive three-day workshop where students fly in from all over the world. Julia has her own beauty agency of makeup artists who work under her label, doing everything from commercial gigs to bridal parties.

most recently, JULIA COMPLETED A WORLD TOUR AS AVRIL LAVIGNE'S KEY MAKEUP ARTIST, OCCASIONALLY DOING HAIR, NAILS AND CONTENT AS WELL. SHE HAS MASTERED THE AVRIL SMOKEY EYE. SOME OF THE FUN EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE IN THE YEAR APART FROM TOUR INCLUDED PARIS FASHION WEEK, THE VMA'S, AND MUSIC VIDEOS FOR HER NEW SONGS, TO NAME A FEW. 

 

lASTLY, j WAS featured in Elle magazine as an up-and-coming beauty guru, and her most meaningful message to young girls is that you can do anything you put your mind to, anything is possible.
